Leather care
Leather is one of the most beautiful natural materials, used by craftsmen for thousands of years and known for its durability. If properly cared for leather can last a lifetime, protecting against excessive dryness and moisture, which may cause it to swell or mildew. The following steps should be taken to prolong the life of your leather bag:
- Store your leather bag away from direct sunlight in a porous cotton bag.
- Avoid placing light colours next to dark colours of leather, as this may cause colour migration, which is irreversible.
- Condition leather in order to prevent dryness and cracking, three or fours times a year, with a cheesecloth and leather conditioner to facilitate durability, shine and increase the natural beauty of the bag.
